Which plan is right for you?
Free plan
Perfect for students, hobby projects, and getting started with tunneling. You get three active HTTP and TCP tunnels, choose any available subdomain (e.g., myapp.fxtun.dev), and work with zero limits on requests, bandwidth, or session duration. UDP tunnels are reserved for paid plans. The Free plan never expires — use it for testing webhooks, demoing a local project to a client, or debugging payment gateway integrations without any time pressure.
Starter — $2.50/mo
The sweet spot for freelancers, indie developers, and small integration projects. Five active tunnels let you expose a frontend, backend, and webhook receiver simultaneously. Five reserved subdomains guarantee stable URLs for demos — no other user can claim your addresses. One custom domain, UDP tunnel support, and the traffic inspector for real-time HTTP request analysis round out the package, all for $2.50 per month.
Pro — $5/mo
Built for small teams and developers juggling multiple projects. 15 active tunnels, 15 reserved subdomains, and 10 access keys mean each team member gets their own key. Five custom domains for different clients or projects. The built-in traffic inspector lets you view, filter, and replay HTTP requests, replacing manual log analysis when debugging APIs and webhooks.
Business — $7.50/mo
The top tier for agencies, dev studios, and teams managing large portfolios. 50 tunnels and 50 reserved subdomains cover the needs of even the busiest shops. 50 custom domains for different clients or projects, 50 access keys for the whole team. Unlimited traffic inspector, full HTTP, TCP, and UDP support. If your business needs reliable infrastructure for client demos and integration testing, Business has you covered.
Subdomains: free and reserved
On every plan, including Free, you can pick any available subdomain when creating a tunnel — for example, myapp.fxtun.dev or api-test.fxtun.dev. This is a fundamental difference from ngrok, which assigns a random URL like abc123.ngrok-free.app on its free tier. However, a free subdomain is not locked to your account: once you disconnect the tunnel, another user can claim the same address. Reserved subdomains (starting from the Starter plan) are permanently bound to your account — no one else can use them, even when your tunnel is offline. This is essential for stable demo URLs, third-party service integrations, and webhooks where the address must never change.
What's included in every plan
Every fxTunnel plan, including Free, provides a full set of core capabilities. Support for three protocols — HTTP, TCP, and UDP — lets you expose web apps, SSH servers, game servers, and IoT devices. A desktop application for Windows, macOS, and Linux with a graphical interface, a CLI for automation, and automatic TLS for HTTPS traffic. No limits on request count or bandwidth. No session timeouts — your tunnel stays alive as long as you need it. Auto-reconnect on connection drops: the client restores the session on its own, without manual intervention.
